Treatment & Diagnoses Overview

 

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is remarkable in its effectiveness for such a broad range of diagnoses. While DBT was initially developed over thirty years ago for borderline personality disorders (BPD), research has steadily shown DBT to be effective for more and more diagnoses. And, more research is being done to understand how it might help with ever more diagnoses. Of course, one treatment approach is not sufficient for all diagnoses. 

Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO DBT) was developed for this very reason. While related to standard DBT, this approach represents its own modality and is effective for a set of diagnoses for which standard DBT is not as effective. 

Our therapists are trained in DBT and RO DBT and work under the direction of a DBT Certified clinical director who can assess whether or not these treatments are right for you.
